How is it that technology is related to a child in Haiti, when the child's needs are food, clean water, and safety?

ICCM has an opportunity for growth in efficiency.

A surprisingly direct connection exists between this child and some high tech servers and software.  Over the last 15 years, International Child Care Ministries (ICCM) has developed a computer system which allows a dedicated group of workers in a small office to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of thousands of children in Haiti and many other countries.

When sponsors send money to children, we have always made a commitment to keep the expenses low.  We are committed to using no more than 15% for overhead, which may be the lowest of any sponsorship program.

We have a highly efficient technology system developed in Canada, that enables us to do more with less people. And we have an opportunity to roll out this efficient technology worldwide.  Beginning with Haiti, where the need is critical, we can standardize our international data processing with the Canadian system.  We can lighten the load of our ICCM Coordinators and staff on the mission fields.  They feel the weight of the changes in world food supplies.  The financial pressure the world is experiencing impacts the "least of these" more than the rest of us.

These changes cost money, and we will not use sponsorship money for this project.  We are asking for specific financial contributions.  Whatever God prompts a donor to give will be the exact amount needed when it all comes together.

The budget for this project is $18,000.  Please pray for us that God will continue to provide the resources.

Through ICCM God continues to change children's lives in places like Haiti, Cambodia, and several other needy countries.

God does more than care for the needy.  Through the miracles of His grace He transforms the lives of those who share, while He meets the needs of those who receive.
